Audubon Yoga Studio, founded and directed by Becky Lloyd, offers a friendly, safe and encouraging setting for students to learn and experience Iyengar yoga.
Classes are rigorous and rewarding, challenging and inspiring. Students are guided in the exploration of asana (postures) and how the understanding of Yoga leads to a deeper understanding of our true Self. Students receive guidance in how to begin a personal home practice best suited for them. We strive to incorporate Yoga philosophy into each class for students to weave into their daily lives.
WE ARE MOVING IN JUNE
Our home at 511 Octavia St. has been a nourishing and blessed space. It has been integral in helping to establish a vibrant Iyengar yoga community in New Orleans and the surrounding region throughout the last 19 years. We are sad to be leaving but so grateful for all that the space has offered us. As Audubon Yoga Studio looks for a new place to call home, we are grateful for the opportunity to use the beautifully renovated VFW (Veterans of Foreign Wars) Club House at 531 Lyons St for the months of June and July. Your continued support is very much appreciated as we navigate through these changes!
Classes resume May 6 and run through May 30.
We are MOVING to a NEW LOCATION in June. Classes will be held at the VFW Clubhouse at 531 Lyons St (corner of Lyons and Annunciation) starting June 10.
The below schedule will run from May 6- May 30 at 511 Octavia St (our original location) and then from June 10 - August 1 at the VFW. The Thursday 6pm class will meet in May but not in June or July.
(great for beginners or those wishing to review basics of Iyengar Yoga)
(open to all levels)
This class will meet in May at Octavia St. but we are unable to meet at the VFW on Thursday evenings in June or July. Stay tuned for possible location (s) for this class in June/July.
